Scope of Laboratory service:

Al Khor community Medical Center Laboratory serve Qatargas Employees and their dependents by providing diagnostic services of the highest quality. These services include routine laboratory analyses such as Biochemistry, Coagulation, Hematology, Immunology and Serology tests tailored to the clinical needs.

The Pre- Employment and Periodic Medical Examination are performed an environment to provide accurate, timely and confidence laboratory results for effective patient management. Clinical consultation on laboratory test is provided by specialist Clinical Pathology doctor.

The laboratory participates in organized inter-laboratory comparisons, by external quality assessment schemes, that encompass the extent and complexity of examination procedures performed by the laboratory. It recognizes laboratories that positively impact patient care.

Opening Hours

Hours of Operation: 7:30 AM  to 15:30 PM , Sunday to Thursday .

Phlebotomy site: from 7:30 to 14:30 by nurses /lab Technologist.

Lab results Turnaround time/ routine test: 24 Hours.

TAT for urgent test: 1 Hour. ​
